Up for auction is a Civil War Bottle Book listing 100 bottle pictures and some have a second photo of the side or bottom of the bottle to give a bit more information. It also gives ruler besided the bottle so as to determine the height or length of the bottle or the food or ink container, as the case may be. This book was published by Ken Parks and Ken Pasvantis. In addition to the bottles and pictures and such the book has several side stories or items concerning the search for bottles. In addition it gives a listing in the back of the books showing the price i.e.(1) Decanter, Stiegel glass(from the gunboat "Cairo"). This not a catalog for buying but a reference of bottles and about the price they were listed at the time of compiling and printing of the book which was about 1978. I have no history through which to research this book and its information, can only answer any questioins as to what is written inside the soft back covers and nothing more.
