I currently have 5 separate volumes of scanned images of Glapwell Colliery in Derbyshire. These photographic images are from my own collection . Image files stored on CDROM. Each volume sells for £2.70 each. Postage is £1.60 for the first CD bought and then an additional £0.60 for each additional CD bought and despatched at the same time to the same address. These photographic images are partly from my own collection and partly extracted from other sources. Image files stored on CDROM. Showing the colliery spoil heap and pityard in a derelict state.. ======================================================== Volume 2 = 49 various photographic images of Glapwell Colliery Spoil Heap and opencast excavations (Volume 2) in Derbyshire from between the 1970s and 1990. ======================================================== Volume 3 = 40 various photographic images of Glapwell Colliery from 1981 through to 1996. There are 10 photos from 1981 showing the colliery reservoir; there are 10 photos from 1982 showing a culvert under the colliery tip; there are 16 from 1991 showing tip washing and a land slip in the colliery spoil heap; All these are from my own collection plus some more downloaded from the web. ======================================================== Volume 4 = 68 various photographic images of Glapwell Colliery from 1974 through to 1993 There are 5 photos from 1974 showing Tip No 46-22; there are 3 from 1984 showing the colliery entrance and a colliery building (weighbridge?); there are 11 fom 1985 showing a flooded watercourse (Stockley Brook ?) with the colliery spoil heap in the background; there are 22 from 1989 showing a major landslip in the pit east tip, a section of the Wales coal seam, excavations in the east slip, slurry lagoons, the restored east tip; there are 21 photos from 1991 showing restoration and coal washing plant, Stockley Brook, Palterton Lane, snow on the tips; there are 4 photos from 1992 showing the construction of a coal washery plant; there is 1 from 1993 and there is an image of the geological and coal seams through Shaft No. 2 with depths and seam thicknesses.
