Coronation 1936 Coronation, a silverplate pattern, was introduced by Community (now Oneida) in 1936 to commemorate the crowning of Edward VIII of England. Due to his abdication, this event never took place. Coronation has been a highly successful pattern in the U.S. A number of hollow ware pieces were produced in the early years and are rather scarce today. VERY SCARCE - HARD TO FIND! WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO SOMEONE'S COLLECTOR SET. SILVERCOLLECT.COM HAS VALUE OVER $500 BUT ALL OUT OF STOCK! I HAVE A LOW RESERVE PRICE.
