The lady who owned the home said it was a Japanese Cricket cage. To me it looks as though crickets could crawl through the spaces but maybe crickets in Japan are larger than they here in the south. Anyway, I have it listed under bird cages as well as it would be a nice one for small parakettes or finches. Has a tight pattern and an unusal 'door' as the piece os stra slide up individually.
