This is great crystal radio kit! It's a virtual clone of the old Radio Shack Science Fair kits available in the early 60's and late 70's. It even uses the same solder-less springs for connecting the wires. If you have ever built one of the 29-207 or 28-177 crystal sets you will love this one. If this is your first crystal radio you will be impressed by the performance of this kit. I have been hooked on crystal radios since I first read The first Boys Book of Radio and Electronics by Alfred Morgan and this kit makes homebrew / homemade AM radio a snap. It’s the perfect kit for sparking an interest in SWL, HAM amateur radio, and BCB broadcasting. A realistic approach for teaching hands on radio as well. Good luck on your bidding!
