In the mid-late '90's I was fortunate enough to live and work in Vancouver. Everyone I knew seemed to have met some celebrity or another (just bumping into them in the streets and corner stores, apparently), but not me. Until my co-workers advised me one day that The X-Files was filming on the street where we worked, and that David Duchovny was on-set. I had a huge crush on him at the time (he hadn't married Tea yet, so I still had a shot lol), and everyone in my office knew it. It took them over an hour of haranguing me, but I finally got up the courage, grabbed my notebook, and marched across the street and right up to Mr. Duchovny. I think I may have startled him with my early spastic fangirly geekdom, and I don't remember a thing that came out of my mouth, but he was nice enough to give me his autograph, anyway :) His new film, "The X-Files: I Want to Believe", is being released in theatres on July 25th.
