You are bidding on an INCREDIBLY RARE POSTCARDFeaturing THE RUSSIAN PAVILIONbuilt for the1878 EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE DE PARIS The postcard appears to be made from a triptych of adhesive cards applied to a blank postcard backing. It measures approx 117mm by 77mmand has never been through the post.It is only described as used in the item specifics above because of its age. Whilst doing a little research on this cardI came across this quote from an International Postcard dealer regarding the1878 EXPOSITION UNIVERSELLE DE PARIS"According to our references, including Neudin,no postcards are known from this expo." It is in excellent condition for a card that is now 130 years old and in my opinionit would make a very useful addition to your collection of vintage postcards.But as I am not a collector myselfmy opinion doesn't carry much weight.I would ask you to take a close look at the pictures belowand make up your own mind and bid accordingly. It is offered for sale with a very realistic opening bid of just £1.99in the hope that the serious collectors out there will determine its true value.
