A Civil War Veteran's medal that has an eagle holding the medal that gives the dates 1861-1884 and "We have Served" on it. It has red white and blue enamel symbols in the center although I couldn't decide what they stood for. It is 3" tall and the eagle is 2 1/4" across and the medal is 1 1/2" across. The pin is in excellent condition as is the medal itself... You are purchasing this piece based on the photographs and description. If I have missed something in the description that is inconsistent with the photographs, please ask about it before you bid. I try very hard to list items accurately, but sometimes miss things. Shipping is priority mail or UPS ground within the USA and must include insurance....Shipments outside of the United States must be paid by paypal and requires a $5.00 processing fee for shipping. Shipping charges outside the United States will be calculated at end of auction and will be based on the shipping conditions the buyer has made for this piece. Payments made by cashiers checks or money orders (other than US Postal Service) will be held 10 business days before shipment. I try to combine shipping costs whenever possible.
