Edison Two Minute Blank Home Recording Connecticut March S.R. Henry’s Barn Dance EDISON CYLINDER RECORD From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this Antique EDISON TWO MINUTE SHAVED BLANK DISC CYLINDER RECORD RECORDED with CONNECTICUT MARCH as well as S.R. HENRY’S BARN DANCE. In addition, although I can’t quite make out the name, it appears that there were “remarks” added at the end of the recording by what looks like Aunt _____. The barn dance was a 1908 tune described as “a fine, romping, ragged barn dance that must have been quite popular because it was recycled as the song Down At The Huskin' Bee in 1909.” This comes in its original cardboard case and appears to be in excellent used condition although I do not have a player so have no way to confirm what is on the cylinder. Please see my other auctions for an eclectic selection of other interesting items. Note to international buyers: Any purchase over $25.00 MUST BE SENT VIA PRIORITY MAIL INSURED regardless of what mail class is shown in the listing. If your purchase is for more than $25.00, DO NOT PAYPAL ME until I send you an invoice with the proper shipping amount. Your item will be in your country within 10 days of your payment. All international items have to go through the customs offices of their countries before they are released for delivery and substantial delays may occur, especially in Italy and France, where delivery can actually take up to four months. While you are welcome to email me to ask about your item, there is no way to track items shipped internationally which is why all international shipments over $25.00 must be sent by Priority insured mail for our mutual protection. On May-12-08 at 17:06:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Use the FREE Counters 1 million sellers do - Vendio!
