The parachute jump located in Brooklyn's Coney Island section was in need of repair as it was in danger of falling. Since being moved to Coney in the early 1940s wind and the salt air had taken it tole. Only the fact that it is now a historic landmark saved it from being lost to history as most of old Coney. Up for auction is a nut and bolt which i recover in person during the restoration. It is from the center section of the jump. The original paintis still present. The Bolt has been placed in a all wood 8x10 shadow box, and comes with a matted photo of the famed Steeplechase park. This is real piece of history and i do not have many left.
