Here is one of the more sought after trilobites of the Order Lichida, Family Odontopleuridae known as Dicranurus monstrosus. It’s found in the Lower Devonian Laatchana Formation deposits near Alnif, Morocco.     The word trilobite comes from the Greek word treislobos, meaning three lobed one. The three lobes run parallel to the axis of the trilobite, or length of the body. Some trilobites were burrowing trilobites, while others could swim and crawl. All are considered scavengers who ate mud, seaweed, and algae for food. All trilobites molted or shed their shells as they grew. There were thousands of different species and these animals were the first ones on Earth to have highly developed vision, as evident from the compound eyes that are amazingly preserved in some of the species We accept PayPal only Please don't bid or buy if you have less than 10 positive feedbacks, your bid will be cancelled and you will be blocked -Item will be shipped as soon as we receive your payment. -Save money on shipping by purchasing more items, we will be very happy to combine shipping and to save you money.
