Flintlock mechanism, probably english dating from the early 1700's, 2 stage action, missing top screw and plate, with original screws and Ottoman brass back plate showing arms, Cannons , flags , drums etc, early 1800,s to late 1700's. Very nice. Mechanism is4 5/8 inches long plate is about the same. Distance screw hole to screw hole is 2 1/2 inches, screws are 1 1/2 inches long.
