A slight exaggeration, but it certainly is worthy of consideration for your heavy duty use, whether it be garage, factory, service truck, or household. The well worn case has protected the meter admirably for many years and does show battle scars from use although the leather handle is still intact and the inside panel and meter are still shiny. The meter is good and still responds well although it should be calibrated. It has handy AC and DC ranges from 2.5 to 2,500 volts and up to 10 amps in addition to Decibel ranges. It uses a single “D” cell, and four AA pen-light cells in the ohmmeter. Please ask questions and request more detailed pictures which are available. Being an early electrical item, and subject to the whims of the common carriers, the unit will be sold "as is". I will pack carefully for FREE with recycled materials. Using the most economical carrier, I will send the package for the actual charges in most cases, except for special instructions or overseas shipments.
