This is a older Genuine German Barometer that was hanging in a older feller home till he passed away couple years ago.Its made of solid Oak with barometer brass and glass front with nice white background.The oak is parting on the side abit on its seam a bit of glue would cure it ,but i don't want to touch it.If you can read German it says STURM,Regan oder Wind,Veranderlich,Schon Wetter, and Bestandig on it,on the boottom is written Geschw.v,d.Velden,Cleve,thats proberly name and place its made.I but it beside my springfield one it seems to match up pretty well.There is a adjusting screw on the back ,and some more on the inside if you want to play with it,you can see all the moving parts from the front pretty neat.
