The coin is actually made of brass. It's huge! The coin is 2 inches in diameter and weighs about 60 grams! (VERY LARGE AND HEAVY). It also has a protective coating on it! The coin comes with a black velvet pouch! On side 1 you have a hand-colored tiger, the Chinese word for Tiger, and "YEAR OF THE TIGER" along with a list of the most recent (and some future) years: 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022, 2034, 2046. The back side of the coin has all 12 Chinese New Year animals (in order), along with their Chinese word/symbol for each corresponding animal. In the center is the yin yang sign. This item comes with a black velvet pouch. I have velvet presentation boxes in my ebay store that would help make this item a great gift!
