Illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs, and a map of Bimbourie township, and also three other maps, one showing the region being talked about, the other showing the railway system, and the third showing the pattern of water channels in 1913. Colour illustrated dust jacket shows shelf wear "When the Museum of Victoria's Photographic Archive Project collected pictures in the Malley in 1985, Bill Boyd, aged 84, brought in hundreds of negatives taken between 1920 in 1930. He had preserved them in Keen's Mustard Tins.
