On offer is an older copy of a huge track map covering the lines of the PHILADELPHIA TRANSPORTATION CO (PTC) which was issued in 1960. This is a detailed track map showing all rail features as well as street names where the tram lines are on the street or adjacent to it. Philadelphia had a much larger tram system in 1960 than is the case today, and all routes are shown on this map. The map also provides a listing of car lines with their principal features explained, and a table showing headways at various times of the day, route mileages and cars assigned. The map copy is on eight 11 1/2 x 8" sheets which were at one time taped together; the tape has come off and the sheets are loose. The map is still quite useable and could be retaped if desired. This is a must for the collection of a Pennylvania traction enthusiast, or for a transit historian or map collector. This map copy is in fair condition. The pages have some age related browning and minor tears. I accept and prefer PayPal, which costs you NOTHING to use, but will also accept certified, cashier's or business checks, and wire or ACH transfers. Any purchase paid for by check will be subject to ten business day delay for clearance. I can ship COD with additional charges paid by buyer. I DO NOT accept money orders!!
