This Hacker Sovereign Radio is not in working order and offered for restoration only, a very good quality radio in its day and probably well worth doing if you're into such things.. Heres what I know about it..Cosmetically not too bad, the Hacker badge is missing off the front as are the little chrome plated metal bits on the ends of the handle. The telescopic aerial is O.K. but not the original. No obvious nasty damage, in fact very little that a good clean up wouldn't put right. Whats wrong with it.. well AF wise its working O.K. I used it to test out the AF sig Gen. I have listed elsewhere.. If I were to attempt a repair I'd be looking at replacing AF117 RF/IF transistors but I haven't got any apart from which the old eyesight and patience are not what they were..Apologies again for the postal costs, dont blame me its Royal Mails fault ! If you want to collect it or arrange collection cheaper yourself, I wish you would.
