I recieved it as a gift about 30 years ago from my uncle who was a farmer near the foot hils of the Ozark mountains. Every year the "Hill People" would come to my uncle's farm to pick and chop cotton. If you eaver read the book or saw the movie "A PAINTED HOUSE" by John Grisham, who grew up in the same area, then you would know about these "Hill People". They would make trinkets of various kinds through the winter, to bring down from the mountains to sell. The always had the best strawberries you ever put in your mouth. Anyway, my Uncle "Cookie" as I called him, bought three of these cabins for gifts to me, my brother, and my dad. I have sold one and my brother gave me his so I decided to sell this one too. The cabin had to be difficult to build with the limited tools they had to use. They had no elecricity, so all of the components were hand carved with a pocket knife. Good Luck with you bidding and I must tell you that the shipping will be by UPS which cost more but I always use them on fragile Items and they have better insurance.
