Victorian Trade Card for J & P Coats Black Thread. Nice full-color advertising front of card. At the bottom on picture is a narrative about the picture. It reads " Come in Topsey out of the rain You'll get Wet.- Oh! it won't hurt me Missy I'm like COATS BLACK THREAD DeColor won't come off by wettin". Back of the card is an advertisement about the J & P Coats Black Thread and how it was made to not color-run when wet. Card measures 3 inches by 4 1/4 inches. Full-color front of card still has sharp colors and is in good condition. Back of card has missing sections of writing and some sections with some paper over-top of the print. Please see picture of back of card to see what I am describing. And there is some rounding of the corners of card. Would make nice addition to your Victorian Trade card collection and has a unique narrative view-point to the card. Any questions about this card please write and I will answer as best as I can.
