This sweet Japanese wood kokeshi doll is from the early l970's, and measures 2" high. This charming kokeshi is a Yukinko, which is a child of the snow country. She's bundled up in a warm coat and a large white hat that protects her from the cold. Her tiny facial features are just so cute, and framed by a bit of her hair that's peeking out from under her hat. This adorable kokeshi doll is in good vintage condition - hard to find many flaws - & would make a great addition to your growing collection. White spots and lines are camera glare.
