This beautiful Japanese wood kokeshi doll is from the early l960's, and measures 3" high. This kokeshi is wearing a very pretty and unusual kimono made from thin strips of ribbon applied horizontally in 2 different colors - yellow & reddish brown. She's also wearing a red & white hair decoration in both the front and back of her hair. She has a lovely, serene face with tiny red lips and highly arched eyebrows, framed by her jet black hair. This wonderful kokeshi doll is in great condition - hard to find many flaws - & would make a great addition to your growing collection. White spots and lines are camera glare. If you are looking for perfection, please do not bid on the older dolls.
