Japanese WWII Short Sword Here is a short sword of Japanese origin, probably for the Navy or Police forces (there is an emblem on the backstrap to help identify which one it belongs to). It has no scabbard but it is nonetheless a very valuable sword. It’s overall length is 28.5â€, the blade measures 23†and the handle 5.5â€. The handle is made of wood and it is a bit crackled in the upper part (see the pictures). Otherwise no broken or loose parts. Any questions are welcome and more pictures can be sent if asked for. Postal services to the US and Canada are usually between 20$ to 40$ but in order to avoid nasty surprises, please ask and provide an address. Unfortunately no international services are offered nor allowed so please do not bid if you live overseas.
