WELCOME TO MERRYTHOUGHTS! Our weekly auction store is named for the word found in Dr. Johnson's Dictionary. A merrythought is a wishbone, a symbol of good luck. We like to play on this word since so many of our postcard images have a literary resonance. Presently we sell antique and vintage postcards, vintage holy cards, art cards, Victorian die cuts and trade cards, vintage greetings cards, and other interesting ephemera.
