J. Heinz Co. tall fluted glass bottle. This older Heinz Co. glass bottle is in very good condition for an older bottle & is without chips, cracks, or repairs to the bottle. It does have some scratches at the top of the fluted edges along the sides, and some strange manufacturing marks such as squiggly lines in the glass itself. Also there is a black line within the glass that is near the collar of the bottle and I am not sure how that came about during manufacture. The bottle is without labels but does have some embossed manufacturing information on the underside. On the bottom, in embossed capitol letters, it reads, "H.J. Heinz Co. Pat D" & a there is central number, "96" with a box & a "o" inside the box in the center that is embossed as well. It seems to be molded with two mold lines I see on each side to the top of the lip. It does have some dirt on the inside that I did not try to clean. I do not know if this is a vinegar or ketsup bottle or something else. Perhaps you do. I do think it is a "kool" old glass Heinz bottle that would look great with an older USA glass bottle collection~ Measurement/weight: 12 1/4" in height. It weighs 1 lb 8 oz. I am estimating shipping weight at 2 lbs 10 oz give or take a few ounces. Although I always wrap very carefully with strong boxes & much cushioning of each item packed, insurance is highly recommended for fragile, valuable items. I try to be accurate in shipping weight, however, since I sell in large quantities, I do not box my items in advance. There is a small packaging handling charge of $1.00 for small packages to $2.00 for large boxes. If I am under estimate in shipping cost, I absorb the extra cost which is in the buyer's favor. If there is overage in my estimate, I refund overage to the buyer when shipped. There is No Handling Charge per item regardless of number of purchases combined for shipping at the same time.
