This is a very large Hawaiian Tiki Fertility god at 14" high. This smiling delight has been hand carved out ot wood, that is redder than shown in the pictures, with a shiny finish like shellac on it. The base of the statue has Hawaiia carved in it. The base is 4" x 3" and 2 - 21/2" high. Condition is very good with no problems found. It is said to be good luck to rub his swelled belly or "opa". This will be a great addition to any Hawaiian themed room. I also thought this might make a good gift for a wedding (one that would be talked about anyway) -- or to help the grandkids come into your life a bit sooner. Maybe you would just need some good luck! Please email me with any questions before bidding. Sale is final. I try to describe all flaws, but if something major is accidentally omitted that affects the value or integrity of the piece, or the item is not as described, a refund will be considered on insured items only. When bidding on vintage clothing, please keep in mind that these pieces have most likely been exposed to dust, molds, smoke, etc. over their lifetime. If you have allergies, or are otherwise concerned about this, it would probably be better for you to buy a new reproduction. All clothing is sold as collectable and has not been (unless otherwise specified) dry-cleaned. That is left to the buyer and his or her preferred method. Winning bidder should add $10.00 Priority Shipping and Handling. Payment with Paypal is preferred, but I also accept Money orders, or cashier’s checks. Item must be paid within 3 days of auctions close when using Paypal, or received within 7 days if mailing a money order. Insurance is optional.
