This is Shamus and his pot of gold. As leprechauns go, Shamus is a little skinny. That's probably from carrying that pot of gold around all the time. They say that if you catch a leprechaun, he has to give you his pot of gold. I don't know about that, but I am sure he will bring much good fortune to your home. I carved Shamus from linden wood. He is 9 and 1/2 inches tall including the shamrock base he is standing on. I have signed, dated, and numbered the bottom of the base.
