This listing consists of four pinbacks featuring images of birds and distributed by the Audubon Society. Although undated, the pieces were likely produced in the early-to-mid 1900's. As seen in Scan # 1, the front surfaces of the pinbacks exhibit very limited wear. For the most part, these pinbacks are entirely undamaged. The light spots seen at the top of the pinback fronts in Scan #1 are glare from the reflection of natural sunlight during the photographic process; this is not damage to the surface detail. The reverse sides of the pinbacks (see Scan #2) show that two have a latch fastener and their original paper disc stating the name of the manufacturer as the Bastian Bros. Co. of Rochester, New York. As for the other two, one is a solid back and the other reads "Protector of American Wildlife". Little or no oxidation is noted on the bare metal rim encasing the actual pin; none is seen on the colorized surface detail. Please review the scans. Questions emailed to me will receive a prompt and accurate reply.
