M &Z-Moritz Zdekauer-Austria HP Footed Powder Box c.1900 click picture to enlarge The mark on this under glazed powder bowl dates it to ca. 1900 according to Kovels' New Dictionary of Marks. The maker, Moritz Zdekauer (M & Z) of Altrohlau, Germany started in 1884 and closed around 1945. The decor is hand painted yellow flowers with gold gilt on the three short feet. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. It shows only a minor amount of wear. This is a Lovely antique piece so don't miss out! Item Condition is based on my observation and opinion. I am not an expert but have done my best to accurately describe each listing.
