This collectible plate is from the Danbury Mint series of Champion Thoroughbreds and depicts Man O' War--"Big Red". Numbered as plate # B9381 in a limited edition, it is by artist Susie Morton and in mint condition. Man O' War, is memorialized at the Lexington Kentucky Horse Park with a life-size statue at his burial place. Winner of 20 races in 21 starts, his legacy is still found in the blood lines of today's wonderful thoroughbreds. Original box and documentation lost years ago, but back of plate contains all information and plate number. Shipping in US by parcel post with delivery confirmation. Insurance is optional at $1.70. Due to gas prices, I now ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays (it's a 20 mile round trip to the post office for me). I cannot be responsible for loss or damage in shipment if insurance is not chosen.
