This wonderful large study by Georges Gardet (1863-1939 Paris) depicts a Wild Boar in full charge. This is solid hot cast Bronze metal on a superb Italian Marble base. This sculpture is very typical of the 19th century French Animalier's, depicting amazing detail and realism, I will allow the pictures to speak for themselves.
