LOST IN SPACE ROBOT YM-3, 16" figure/model from, Masudaya, 1985 In 1984 a Japanese company called Masudaya released what many justly consider to be the most accurate and detailed Lost in Space "YM3" Robot toy/model ever produced. Very little is known about the company but it's highly probable they are the same company that produced a wide range of Japanese tin-toys in the 1950s and 1960s. The Masudaya models were unlicensed, thus the name "Lost in Space" doesn't appear anywhere on the box, and the Robot was called YM-3. In 1986, the official license-holder forced Masudaya to cease production, making their Robots fairly rare. ROBOT YM-3 is 16 inches tall, has blinking lights in his chest, and talks - speaking classic Lost in Space phrases in English and Japanese! Features flexible arms and authentic details. Some assembly required. Requires one C-battery, not included. Specified for ages 10 to adult. Robot figure has never been removed from box (picture is a stock photo), complete with all parts, original packing, and instructions. Box is in near-mint condition - only very slight shelf wear along bottom edges. Otherwise complete, bright and glossy. No tears, dings, marks or stains. Always Low Shipping is just $5.00 in the US, $7.00 to Canada. No other international shipping offered. Item will be shipped in a sturdy, well-padded box.
