Price reduced! This original set of Bookends was created and made by Dodge, Inc. in 1946 according to the sticker on bottom of green felt. Designed by Gladys Brown,The horse heads are full of detail including copper highlights. This rare find is in very good condition for its age. Carolyn Martin has a picture of these bookends in her book "Metal Horse Collections" on Page 201 #600.550 with a description on Page 284. There are no broken parts. The bookends are approximately 6.75" tall. There is no reserve. This will make an excellent gift!
