Starting bid just $29 per piece. This auction is for eight large antique wooden decorative comic strip cut-out pieces that were probably done in the 1920’s. It is very cool wall art. There is one Mutt, one Jeff, one Maggie, two Jiggs (from the Bringing Up Father comic strip) and three other pieces I have been unable to identify. These are approximately two feet four inches to two feet eight inches hand painted wooden figures that were probably used to decorate a nursery or a business. Would be perfect in a comic book store, children's room, or as part of a collection. These are one-of-a-kind items. I bought them many years ago from an antique dealer to decorate our game room. These items are sold as-is. Since I am not an expert, I am only relaying the information I was told. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. The pieces appear to be in good shape with nothing missing or broken. Each piece has a small nail hole in the top and bottom where they were mounted to the wall. I also bought them that way.
