Seeing Saturn for myself, having found it, is so much more satisfying that looking at someone elses pictures.†“Incidentally, it is much better in one respect than you advertise. *It actually will focus down to about 10m! This means you can use it to view garden birds!*†"A word about the tripod - if you limit the extension of each segment by about 1 inch from maximum it is much firmer, fine for spotting." A feedback from lucy333springer on 7 Dec. 2007: "GREAT FUN SCOPE===IN TERMS OF MILES I SEEN MY BROTHERS FACE UP CLOSE 8 MILES AWA" A feedback from tonybikie on 25 March 2008: "Counting house bricks at 1km & white of bird's eye at 100m"Another recent feedback comment received from austincom on 10/2/08: "Hi, I just wanted to write and say how pleased I am with this telescope. It's magnification is amazing. I'm looking now to attach a camera to get some shots of the birds (gold finches, green finches, siskin's etc), that come to feed in my garden that I can now see in unbelievable detail. I hadn't even realised that I had siskin's feeding on the thistle seed until I trained this telescope on it. Fantastic." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- N.B.: This scope is adaptable (with an adapter) to an electronic digital eyepiece/camera which can be directly connected to a desktop/laptop computer via a USB cable. You can see a distant object on the PC screen, adjust the scope’s focus for image clarity as necessary, and take pictures of the object by clicking the ‘take picture’ icon on the screen, and the picture is automatically saved into PC. You can also capture a video of distant scene (can set frame rate and time limit if you wish) and save the video file into the computer. Here is a picture of the Moon taken by one of our customers using Nipon 26-78x78 scope: http://www.figleafe.co.uk/Main/night-sky.htm With the same adapter as described above, the scope can also adapt to different types of eyepieces (with standard 1.25†fitting).
