You are bidding on a large lot of The New Warriors, #1-17. Remember a couple years ago when a group of overenthusiastic young would-be superheroes charged in on a house in Stanford full of evil powerhouses and caused an explosion that killed hundreds of civilians and sparked the superhero registration act that has pretty much been at the center of most Marvel story arcs since? Well here's the crew that made it all possible in their first outing. Here we have: Night Thrasher (death due to getting all blowed up) Speedball (now the supremely disturbing hero Penance) Namorita (chum) Firestar (retired due to forced registration) Marvel Boy (Changed his name and sold out to the Initiaitve) Kid Nova (now just plain Nova doing his thing up in space) These comics have been stored upright in bags and boards. They've spent the years in proper comic boxes since they were purchased. I have no grading on them, but as an avid reader I can say that these comics are in outstanding condition. No tears, no smudges, no bent corners, no sun damage, and they are all completely intact. For their age, they have the appearance of being fresh off the racks. With the critical role this group has played and their continued anti-establishment antics winning hearts and minds, this is a great group of comics for the collector.
