NEW just completed-- The Roses Bag- Hand crafted in Elkskin Suede. All work on this bag has been done freehand. I use no tracing, copying, stencils, stamps etc. The motif of The Roses is permenantly freehand burned into the leather suede. All lacing, ties, and fringe are cut by hand. I use no tools other than a burning tool, scissors, and my hands. The lacings have been doubly secured to prevent small items from slipping through. The fringe is added individually one at a time.The inside and underflap of the bag are of the natural skin of the Elk. The overflap with the roses also has lacing along the edge . Poney beads in shades of lavender are added to add color and interest to the bag. Measurements are 9"wide x61/2"long--18" to bottom of laces. A hand braided strap measures 46"appx.This is the first time I have attempted Roses on leather, so it is a first and one of a kind. I never make any of my bags alike, all are different in some way. A button hole with natural buffalo tooth is used to close and secure the bag. As always I have signed and dated the bag. I prefer pay pal and all shipping and handeling is paid by buyer. Insurance is optional at time of purchase. I use priority mail for shipping with delivery confirmation. I combine shipping on multiple items== please notify when buying multiples so I may send an combined shipping invoice.
