It stands 9" tall and is about 6" wide at the widest point. Weighs a little more than 2 lb. The transfer pattern is a landscape which is quite detailed. The lid is decorated with clouds and birds in flight in a V pattern. The scenery around the middle of the jar includes "many" buildings with three different flags - one has a cross, another a vertical line and the other a horizontal line. There are walkways, people, trees, etc. Below that, at the base of the jar, is water with various types of sailing vessels. The hollow feet appear to be part of the mold, not "applied". It has a high gloss glaze all over except around the inside rim of the jar, the inside rim of the lid and the bottom center spot of the jar (see last 2 photos). As you can see in the photo of the rim, it's not perfectly round. I don't know it's origin, maker or age, although I believe it to be quite old. If it was newer and mass produced, the believe the form would be more perfect and the blue not as vividly detailed. I purchased it at a sale about 15 years ago. It's in excllent condition. There are a few dark spots on the rim, in the unglazed porcelain. No nicks, chips or cracks; no repairs or restoration. The blue is bright and detailed. The bright white spots are sun glare.
