I believe it is from Chile. It comes complete serial numbered scabbard. It does not match the serial number on the bayonet.The blade is 9 7/8" (25 cm.) long and free of dings, dents and sharpening. It does have some wear near the tip. The bayonet was made by Weyersberg in Solingen, Germany. Overall length is 14.75" (37.5 cm.).There is no date on the bayonet.Grips are good with no cracks or gouges. There are a few dings and scratches from light use. Release lug works.The scabbard has about 70% of the finish left. It does have some large dents on it. It is dated 1936.
