This matchbook is from Jack Fricke's Old Hook Inn located at 422 Old Hook Road, Emerson, New Jersey. It is probably from the early 1960's. Printed on the back of the matchbook is: Jack Fricke's Sea Food. Below these words is a drawing of a lobster, printed in the same orange as the letters on the front cover. Printed below the lobster is: BANQUET FACILITIES. The striker is unused and no matches are missing. The matches are tan with off-white stripes near the tips, which are red. Printed on the lower spine is: MARYLAND MATCH CO., NEW YORK 19, N.Y. Printed on the upper spine, in white against an aqua background, is a line drawing of a telephone handset with a straight wire cord extending from the handset, followed by: 262-2888. ************************************************************************************************************* BONUS MOVIE STUB: Tucked behind the matches, inside the matchbook, I found the torn half of a pink theatre stub. According to my husband, the stub is from the Tri-State Theatre in Paramus, NJ during his childhood. Printed on the front of the stub is: RY'S THEATRE 85 E 17 MUS, J. $1.45 AX .05 TAL...$1.50 SHAMOKIN, PA. Printed along the side edge of the stub is the ticket number 006006. Above the ticket number is printed: WINDOW No. 2. Printed on the back of the ticket stub is: The management right to revoke granted this by re ing purchase price. GOOD ONLY ON.
