This is a beautiful original hand sculpted work of art, vintage from the far east. It is approximately 8in by 11 in, not a small example of an intricate carving rarely found today. This is sandwiched between two pieces of glass approximately 2 1/2 inches apart, shadowbox style surrounded by a beautiful red and black lacquer frame. The scene is of a pagota with a gazebo under a beautiful pine bough below a cliff with a lighthouse. This appears to be a river scene with rocks in the water with two egrets or cranes.
