Liquidating an estate. This is Owens Pottery. It was made in Zanesville,Ohio from 1891 to 1928. About 1907, the firm discontinued making art pottery wares. THIS IS A VERY RARE PIECE! This is an 11 inch Greenware wall pocket. It listed in Kovols, 1998 edition, for 775.00 There is a chip on the back side- probably from the wall mounting. It is extremely unusual.
