This is to certify that the pen hereunto attached was used by me in signing Senate Bill No. 1255, Prionter’s No. 1804, entitled an Act relating to mortgage interest rates. “Signed Milton J. Shapp". Dated January 30, 1974. The pen also has Milton Shapp on it. Milton Shapp (1912-1994) was Governor of Pennsylvania (1971-1979). He sought the Democratic Presidential nomination in 1976. The deep framed piece measures about 6 by 9 ½ by 1 ½ inches deep. This is a genuine piece of Pennsylvania history. As the auctioneer says, “Help yourselves girls and boys.
