Antique bookends",Pair of Art Deco bronze bookends made by the Pompeian Bronze Co. These bookends are made with a thick veneered bronze exterior and a filled interior.They were made at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The Pompeian Bronze Co. made exact copies of museum pieces at that time. THESE BOOKENDS HAVE A GREAT FINISH IN RICH JEWELTONE COLORS. THEY EACH MEASURE 6IN AT THE HIGHEST POINT AND 6IN. AT THE WIDEST POINT THE BASE IS 4 1/4IN X 3 1/2 IN. THEY ARE IN A1 SHAPE THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN IS A SMALL DENT ON THE BACK AS SEEN IN THE PICTURE. A VERY IMPRESSIVE LOOKING PAIR OF BOOKENDS.
