Crinoids, or sea lilies as they are sometimes called, were on this earth millions of years before the dinosaurs and co-existed with them for millions of years after. They belong to a large class (Crinoidea) of echinoderms. They were found in the shallow sea beds, anchored to the bottom by their long stalks. They ate by channeling food along their waving arms and into their mouths. Crinoids lived in the ancient seas of the Late Cambrian era, some 530 million years ago. Bidding is for all six pieces shown. Buyer to pay $2.50 shipping and handling. PayPal will provide immediate shipping. Money orders and checks are also happily accepted. Thanks so much for looking!
