PURSENURSE PLACE – I REPAIR designer handbags, purses, briefcases and many other types of leathergoods for men and women. I also SELL a variety of lovely items of all sorts, both old and new. Whether you might be a collector, a shopaholic, or are simply looking for that ‘certain something, please stop in. You might just find what you always had in mind. This auction is for a lovely little porcelain or ceramic (I'm not sure which) little flower pot or basket................The entire item has the basket weave all around it and it has handles at either side..............On the front there are some beautifully detailed flowers and leaves entwined around a porcelain branch...............It stands about 4 1/4" high to top of handle and measures about 4" across the top from handle to handle..............The only things that I can see that might be a damage is that a piece of the petal on the front rose might be missing......It's hard to tell if it is missing or if it was made that way......................Also, it is possible that some of the edges of the leaves and other protruding flowers and petals are also very slightly chipped off. You can only tell on very careful inspection. However, it displays beautifully............On the bottom, the number 256 is stamped into it. Also there is a number 65. This number is in reddish brown ink and looks as though it was written on the piece before it was glazed.............There is also what is probably a maker's mark on the bottom. I'm having trouble photographing it, but it looks like 2 spoons standing next to each other and one spoon crossing through them. This is in blue.
