A cleverly executed panorama of the main esplanade of the New York World's fair composed of five consecutive color lithographic views, which when extended and viewed through the "peep hole" perfectly reproduce the long view of the main esplanade. The panorama measures 6.5" x 5" when folded flat but "accordions" to 24". This souvenir comes with the original envelope. Condition is Very Fine/Near Mint. No tears, rips, creases. My only concern is the color on the front, no question that it is nice, I just have no idea if the colors are slightly muted. (The photos show brighter and bolder colors.) On ebay one sees so many headings with the word "rare"! And, sometimes when it is indeed, "rare" it's like yeah, but who would want it. Due to the delicate construction, as well as the age (almost 70-years old) this must surely be a rarity. And, a "must have" item!
