A recent find at a local Estate Sale - I believe this to be quite rare. This statue is approximately 76" tall. I am guessing that it is African in origin? If anyone out there knows the history please dont hesitate to write me! I tried to take lots of pictures to capture all the details of this incredible piece. I was told by a friend that she had a similar 12" statue that kept out the evil? Hmmmm, no guarantees on that, but if her 12" could pull it off - this big boy should keep the whole neighborhood safe! CONDITION: There is a small chip in the side of his head piece (see photo) I was unable to get him to stand on his own so I propped him up for the photos. My husband thinks he originally had an additional piece of wood for the base? His little feet sit on the bottom piece of wood and he is all one piece - however the bottom is uneven and does have three former nail holes, I would think this would be an easy fix? (Hubby said he would give it a shot if you want him to) Dont miss it!! Thanks for looking - please pay within 3 days of auction's end. I will combine so check out my other goodies!
