Gorgeous antique advertisement comes from a rare 19th century periodical art journal printed in 1897. This is for Spratt's Patent Dog Cakes and Epps's Cocoa along with Victoria Date Vinegar. The Spratt's depicts a Saint Bernard dog with a Russian Wolfhound - Borzoi dog. The sheet measures and measures 9 3/4" x 14". The engraving is good condition and would look gorgeous framed. There is a small dog ear on the outer left hand corner but this could be covered when framed. There are a few faint spots but these are all light and very tiny. There is some printing on the reverse side but this would be covered when framing. The actual item is much sharper than this scan depicts.
