Rare Antique Metal 'Policia Federal' Police Whistle CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE Description: Rare antique nickel plated cast metal 'Policia Federal' police whistle with lanyard loop/hook. It reads "POLICIA FEDERAL" on left side. This whistle was used in the 40's when the Argentine Federal Police changed its name from 'Policia de la Capital' to 'Policia Federal'. It is one of the first police whistles with the inscription of 'Policia Federal'. Unmarked, made ca. 1940's. Dimensions: 2 5/8" (6.7 cm) long.Condition: Somewhat darkened metal and soldering around nipple.
